Touch Screen Interfaces - Why You Need a New Just-About-Anything
Now that Insurance auto holiday shopping season is over, Missjackson a good time to start thinking about what you would like for yourself! Hopefully you got what you wanted for the holidays endowment selling gifts that you cheapest loan rates but if not, getting a new version of your favorite electronic device gives you the opportunity to have another touch-screen enabled device. If you don't have one yet, your limited experience can go way beyond the interface at the ATM.
Just about any electronic device you buy that costs more than one hundred dollars has an enhanced version with a touch-screen enabled display. This isn't true in all cases, but for a little more, or as a primary feature, your new cell phone, PDA, GPS, or even watch could be operated by touching menu selections visible on screen. The other day I helped a friend set up a new printer, and this basic Hewlett Packard model had a touchscreen display. It made configuration much easier, and I believe allowed for more set up options--ones that would not be intuitive to use as part of an LCD display.
When buying a GPS, or global positioning system device, make sure that it is touch-screen capable. In some cases, these are even voice activated. The art of the user interface is certainly never better right now, but that is the constant goal: Make the interface so good that eventually the user isn't really aware that it is there. When you compare LCD displays and menu systems that were the common interface for the last couple decades, the ease-of-use of touch-screen is unparalleled only by interfaces of the future that we do not yet have. As I mentioned previously, setting up my friends printer was so much easier, and allowed for what seemed to be more options.
The last time I set up a printer, it was my own, a Brother model that did not have a touchscreen display. When compared to the HP model, setup took much longer and I made far more mistakes. The first thing to learn was which buttons operated the menu. Just like a remote control without a touch-screen display. I am very glad that those days are nearly over. It's just a matter of replacing everything without a TSS! ifoyer.com/touch_screen_devices.htmClick here to see some great touch screen devices.
